Hyderabad: LeanSpoon, a health food startup, and Truworth Wellness, a digital health and wellness company, have partnered to integrate health and wellness requirements for corporate workforce, a statement said on Monday.

LeanSpoon and Truworth Wellness’ The Wellness Corner, a web and mobile engagement platform, will enable users to order healthy and nutritionally-balanced meals that match up to their personal nutrition requirements.

Over the last seven months since it started trials, Leanspoon have delivered over 2,500 meals with a high customer retention rate of over 70 per cent, the company said. Leanspoon is driven by over 20 nutritionists, Culinary experts, MBAs and engineers to make nutrition advice and healthy food accessible.

With an accelerated growth rate of 50 per cent month on month since its inception, LeanSpoon helps people to achieve their health goals, through personalised nutrition that integrates nutrition and lifestyle advice with portion controlled tasty food — all connected to each user’s medical background, dietary patterns and health goals.

The Wellness Corner is a user friendly, comprehensive, highly personalised and fully integrated platform with a user base of one million corporate employees.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
