Manchester United have the loudest fans
London: Manchester United fans have been crowned the noisiest when following their team away from home in the English Premier League (EPL) in a survey conducted by brewing company Carlsberg.
Louis van Gaal’s side did not win a game on their away trips until Nov 22 at Arsenal – after five away matches and were fortunate to secure three points then, reports the dailymail.co.uk.
But that slump didn’t stop supporters backing United more vocally than any other side.
The Red Devil’s are closely followed by both Newcastle and Liverpool, while Manchester City and Arsenal are in 6th and 7th spot respectively.
The Survey has also taken into account last year’s three relegated sides, while West Bromich Albion find themselves rock bottom with Burnley and Queens Park Rangers not too far ahead.
Manchester United are presently third in the points table behind Chelsea and Manchester City.
Given below are the teams listed in terms of having the loudest fans away from home.
1. Manchester United; 2. Newcastle; 3. Liverpool; 4. Crystal Palace; 5. Chelsea; 6. Manchester City; 7. Arsenal; 8. West Ham; 9. Southampton; 10. Stoke; 11. Cardiff; 12. Norwich; 13. Swansea; 14. Sunderland; 15. Everton; 16. Aston Villa; 17. Leicester; 18. Tottenham Hotspurs; 19. Fulham; 20. Hull; 21. Queens Park Rangers; 22. Burnley; 23. West Bromich Albion.

Sunil Gavaskar gives his opinion of GT allrounder Rahul Tewatia
The left-handed batsman from Haryana is garnering praise from all quarters for the way he’s finishing games regularly in the most exciting IPL season.
Gavaskar reckons Tewatia’s whirlwind knock in Sharjah (in IPL 2020) where he smashed West Indies pacer Sheldon Cottrell for five sixes in an over, gave him the confidence that he belongs to the big stage.
Speaking on Cricket Live on Star Sports, Gavaskar said, “That assault on Sheldon Cottrell in Sharjah gave him the belief to do the impossible and the confidence that he belongs here. We saw the impossible (he did with the bat) the other day as well. There’s no twitching or touching the pads (which shows a batter’s nervousness) when he bats in the death overs. He just waits for the ball to be delivered and plays his shots. He’s got all the shots in the book, but most importantly his temperament to stay cool in a crisis is brilliant.”
Gavaskar has also nicknamed the 28-year-old cricketer the ‘ice-man’ and lauded Tewatia’s ability to remain unruffled during the tense moments.
