PM Modi urged state govt for CCTNS, but no statement for Saharanpur incidence – Aaj Ki Khabar
Lucknow: In a bid to ensure better law and order in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video confrencing on Wednesday, urged all the state governments to accord high priority to the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS). PM Modi during the monthly meeting of the Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation (PRAGATI), interacts directly with top officials of the central departments and state governments through video conferencing.
According to PMO statement “PM Modi urged the states to accord high priority to this (CCTNS) network, so that maximum benefit could be taken from it, in the interest of law and order, and bringing criminals to justice and beside this Modi enquired into the present status of Deoband-Roorkee rail track laying project from the state chief secretary Rahul Bhatnagar. However PM Modi did not give a single statement related to Saharanpur incidence.

AIMIM patriarch breaks down while addressing a rally in Hyderabad: Watch video
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday broke down while addressing a vast gathering of his supporters near Hyderabad’s Mecca Masjid on the last Friday of Ramzan.
According to news agency ANI, the AIMIM chief was talking about the recent incidents of homes and shops of Muslims being bulldozed in several states when he became emotional. During his speech, he alleged that attempts are being made to wipe out the Muslims from the country.
“People are calling and telling me about atrocities being done to them, their villages and shops are being demolished. One should not lose hope, there’s no need to worry. We’ll face it with patience but will never raze a home,” Owaisi said, according to ANI.
He even warned PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and the BJP govt at the Centre that the Indian Muslims will never bow to such atrocities.
“Listen, Modi and Amit Shah. We will not bow before you. We are those who bow before Allah. Allah is enough for us,” Owaisi said as he recounted the recent incident of Khargone in Madhya Pradesh.
