David Warner plans new mantra to tackle Indian spinners in 3rd ODI
Indore: Current vice-captain of the Australian cricket team, David Warner yesterday said Aaron Finch will do everything he can to return to bolster Australia’s floundering batting, as they face a final opportunity to save the ODI series in India. A calf injury has forced Finch to watch from the sidelines as Steve Smith’s side slumped to 2-0 down in the five-match series. But he trained strongly on Saturday, testing his calf out with running and fielding drills before a solid session in the nets.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday broke down while addressing a vast gathering of his supporters near Hyderabad’s Mecca Masjid on the last Friday of Ramzan.
According to news agency ANI, the AIMIM chief was talking about the recent incidents of homes and shops of Muslims being bulldozed in several states when he became emotional. During his speech, he alleged that attempts are being made to wipe out the Muslims from the country.
“People are calling and telling me about atrocities being done to them, their villages and shops are being demolished. One should not lose hope, there’s no need to worry. We’ll face it with patience but will never raze a home,” Owaisi said, according to ANI.
He even warned PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and the BJP govt at the Centre that the Indian Muslims will never bow to such atrocities.
“Listen, Modi and Amit Shah. We will not bow before you. We are those who bow before Allah. Allah is enough for us,” Owaisi said as he recounted the recent incident of Khargone in Madhya Pradesh.
