JioPhone delivery to be completed by Diwali, confirms Reliance Jio

New Delhi :Reliance Jio plans to complete the delivery process of all six million units of its JioPhone feature phone by Diwali which is on October 19. Reliance Jio Care, in response to a user query said on Twitter that customers who pre-booked the JioPhone will get the device by Diwali.

Relaince JioPhone is priced at Rs 1,500 which is refundable after three years given users return the device.

The address of the store and pickup date of the Jio phone will be sent to the customer by SMS added the Jio Care in its Tweet, “We will send you an SMS informing about the store address and pickup date as soon as it is ready for delivery”.

Earlier this month, Jio said that it will start delivering the JioPhones starting Navratri, and a recent rumour also stated that the company has started shipping the devices. “The delivery status of your JioPhone order will soon be available on 1800 890 8900”, Jio Care further said.

Reliance Jio unveiled its 4G enable feature phone – JioPhone, on July 21 at Reliance Industries Ltd annual general meeting.
