337 candidates in fray in Himachal assembly constituency, on Thursday
Shimla : A total of 755 polling parties have been deployed across the state for voting of Himachal Pradesh assembly elections to be held on November 9. A total of 337 candidates are in the fray in this election, including 19 women. The BJP and the Congress Party have fielded candidates in all 68 assembly constituencies whereas the CPM is in the fray in 14 constituencies.
Apart from 112 independent candidates, 42 candidates of BSP, Swabhiman Party and Lok Jabal Party 6-6, NCP, SP, All India Forward Bloc and two of the Social Welfare Kalyan Party, Neo Bharat Ekta Dal , Indian Himachal Jan Vikas Party, All India Human Rights Political Party, Bahujan Mukti Party, General Samaj Party and Nationalist Pratap Sena have one candidate each. Polling will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be one hundred 36 polling stations across the state, which will be fully handled by women.
The Election Commission said that arrangements for the security of EVM and VVPET have been made. For the first time VVPET is being used in the state. The first thing is that during the voting nobody will be able to find out who has voted for it. The Commission said that all the polling stations have been installed with CCTV cameras.
He said that there is an appeal to all the voters to use their voting without fear of fear. The list which appears in VVPet will be visible for 7 seconds and after 7 seconds it will fall into the box itself. You will not be able to take her home.
After 5 o’clock, if a voter comes to cast votes then he will be allowed to vote, for this to increase the time of polling booth, it will be increased. Action will be taken if any banner or poster is made without permission. He said that we had 12 cases, 8 of them have been taken action. The helicopters will be ready and a doctor team has also been prepared. Apart from this, many activists in front of the commission were also discussed on the incident in Jogindranagar and Chamba.

Dr. Abhishek Verma Dedicates a Shelter in Memory of His Mother, Veena Verma, at KGMU; Inaugurated by Daughter Nicolle Verma
World-renowned business tycoon Dr. Abhishek Verma has supported Foodman Vishal Singh’s Hunger-Free World mission. In memory of his mother, Late Veena Verma, who was a 3 term Rajya Sabha MP.
Dr. Verma dedicated a state-of-the-art free permanent shelter for the attendants of patients at KGMU Medical University, Lucknow, under the aegis of Vijay Shree Foundation. His daughter, Nicolle Verma, inaugurated the shelter.
During the event, Foodman Vishal Singh honored Nicolle Verma by presenting her with a memento. Mrs. Nidhi Sharma and Avantika Yadav, associated with the organization, welcomed her with garlands. Following this, Nicolle Verma distributed essential items to the attendants and also handed out fruits. She became emotional remembering her grandmother on her birth anniversary.
On this occasion, she also inaugurated the “Veena Verma Sevalaya” in memory of her grandmother, Veena Verma, to serve the attendants. She expressed, “I feel proud that my family is engaged in nation-building as well as social service. Today, in collaboration with Vijay Shree Foundation founder Foodman Vishal Singh Ji, I feel immensely proud to dedicate this shelter for the poor, helpless, and needy attendants of patients battling serious illnesses like cancer. I am honored to be associated with the Hunger-Free World Mission for humanity.”
Inspired by the continuous humanitarian service provided by Vijay Shree Foundation over the past 17 years, Nicolle Verma donated 10 lakh rupees to support the cause. The purpose of this donation is to ensure that services continue for the needy attendants of patients suffering from severe illnesses in hospitals, as facilitated by Foodman Vishal Singh.
