Juventus’ Chiellini, Cuadrado ready for Milan clash
Rome, March 30 (IANS) Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri on Friday said defender Giorgio Chiellini and winger Juan Guillermo Cuadrado had both recovered from their injuries and were available for the club’s Serie A clash against Milan.
Juventus is finishing preparations for Saturday’s game against Milan before getting ready to face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinals next week, reports Efe.
“Chiellini is fine and will play, Cuadrado is in good shape and will be on the bench tomorrow night,” Allegri said in a press conference.
“Tomorrow we have Milan who in the last 10 games, have won eight times and drawn twice, and have won their last five. It’s still Juventus-Milan, a big match that will be balanced,” he added.
Chiellini, who suffered a muscle injury on February 17, rejoined the group work on Wednesday and trained normally, just like Cuadrado, who returned to the squad’s training sessions this week after being out for three months.
The Italian coach said that the trio Gonzalo Higuain, Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala were performing better when playing together.
“Higuain and Mandzukic are both ready for tomorrow, they along with Dybala are becoming an even stronger strikeforce the more they play together,” Allegri said.
Meanwhile, Allegri said that Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi was to return to the club’s training sessions next week.

Sunil Gavaskar gives his opinion of GT allrounder Rahul Tewatia
The left-handed batsman from Haryana is garnering praise from all quarters for the way he’s finishing games regularly in the most exciting IPL season.
Gavaskar reckons Tewatia’s whirlwind knock in Sharjah (in IPL 2020) where he smashed West Indies pacer Sheldon Cottrell for five sixes in an over, gave him the confidence that he belongs to the big stage.
Speaking on Cricket Live on Star Sports, Gavaskar said, “That assault on Sheldon Cottrell in Sharjah gave him the belief to do the impossible and the confidence that he belongs here. We saw the impossible (he did with the bat) the other day as well. There’s no twitching or touching the pads (which shows a batter’s nervousness) when he bats in the death overs. He just waits for the ball to be delivered and plays his shots. He’s got all the shots in the book, but most importantly his temperament to stay cool in a crisis is brilliant.”
Gavaskar has also nicknamed the 28-year-old cricketer the ‘ice-man’ and lauded Tewatia’s ability to remain unruffled during the tense moments.
