Ranveer shares throwback moment with Snoop Dogg (Movie Snippets) (Lead)
Mumbai, April 19 (IANS) Actor Ranveer Singh, who will be seen as a street rapper in his next film “Gully Boy”, shared a throwback photograph with international rapper Snoop Dogg.
Ranveer tweeted the selfie on Thursday.
“Ain’t nothing but a G thang. Throw back Thursday the Dogg father… Snoop Dogg,” Ranveer captioned the image, hinting at Snoop Dogg’s “Nothin’ But a G Thang” song.
Ranveer’s “Gully Boy” is helmed by Zoya Akhtar, and he will share screen space with actress Alia Bhatt. The movie is backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment.

Tiger, Disha Patani’s prankster stories
Actors Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani were very naughty while growing up, and played pranks on people very often.
They shared their own stories in a segment titled “Lol April” on MTV Beats channel, said a statement from the channel.
“It was really wrong but as a child I had stuck a chewing gum under somebody’s seat which further stuck to the person’s back. That was quite a naughty prank by me,” Tiger said.
To this, Disha added: “When I was a child, new telephones had just come up. My sister and I used to sit together and dial random phone numbers. We would just dial and say, ‘Hi, main some mata baat kar rahi hoon’. Basically, we would just take some God’s name.”

Yuvika excited to do biopic
Actress Yuvika Chaudhary says she is happy to join the cast of a biopic on a social activist from Karnal, Haryana.
“I am very happy about being a part of ‘SP Chauhan’ as the movie revolves around my character and my husband essayed by Jimmy Sheirgill,” Yuvika said in a statement.
“It shows how Indian wives are the strength of their husband. It’s a Haryanvi character,” she added.
She was last seen on the big screen in “Lakeeran” in 2016.
Apart from featuring in movies, including Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “Om Shanti Om”, Yuvika has also done TV shows like “Amma” and “Yeh Vaada Raha”.

Any takers for ‘Chalti Ka Naam Gadi’ remake, asks Anil Kapoor
Actor Anil Kapoor has hinted that he is open to a remake of “Chalti Ka Naam Gadi” if there are any takers to make it.
“Looking to ‘Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi’ for inspiration before shoot for ‘Total Dhamaal’. Don’t you long for the innocence and simplicity of those times? If there are any takers, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan and I will volunteer to be the Ashok, Kishore and Anup Kumars of today! Anyone,” Anil tweeted.
As for “Total Dhamaal”, the film is being jointly produced by Indra Kumar along with Ashok Thakeria and Ajay Devgn. The film also stars Ajay, Riteish Deshmukh, Madhuri Dixit, Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi.

Dr. Abhishek Verma Dedicates a Shelter in Memory of His Mother, Veena Verma, at KGMU; Inaugurated by Daughter Nicolle Verma
World-renowned business tycoon Dr. Abhishek Verma has supported Foodman Vishal Singh’s Hunger-Free World mission. In memory of his mother, Late Veena Verma, who was a 3 term Rajya Sabha MP.
Dr. Verma dedicated a state-of-the-art free permanent shelter for the attendants of patients at KGMU Medical University, Lucknow, under the aegis of Vijay Shree Foundation. His daughter, Nicolle Verma, inaugurated the shelter.
During the event, Foodman Vishal Singh honored Nicolle Verma by presenting her with a memento. Mrs. Nidhi Sharma and Avantika Yadav, associated with the organization, welcomed her with garlands. Following this, Nicolle Verma distributed essential items to the attendants and also handed out fruits. She became emotional remembering her grandmother on her birth anniversary.
On this occasion, she also inaugurated the “Veena Verma Sevalaya” in memory of her grandmother, Veena Verma, to serve the attendants. She expressed, “I feel proud that my family is engaged in nation-building as well as social service. Today, in collaboration with Vijay Shree Foundation founder Foodman Vishal Singh Ji, I feel immensely proud to dedicate this shelter for the poor, helpless, and needy attendants of patients battling serious illnesses like cancer. Inspired by the continuous humanitarian service provided by Vijay Shree Foundation over the past 17 years, Nicolle Verma donated 10 lakh rupees to support the cause. The purpose of this donation is to ensure that services continue for the needy attendants of patients suffering from severe illnesses in hospitals, as facilitated by Foodman Vishal Singh.
