CMS students of class 10th, 12th delivers top results in ISC and ICSE Board results
Lucknow: The meritorious students of City Montessori School (CMS) have once again created history quashing all their own previous records in the ISC and ICSE Board Examinations 2018, the results of which were declared this afternoon.
In the ISC (Class XII) Board Examination, Radhika Chandra and Saman Wahid of CMS Mahanagar Campus and Sakshi Pradyumn of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, all three students secured the first position in the country with 99.50% marks while two CMS students Sanjeevani Hazra of CMS Kanpur Road Campus and Mansi Acharya of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I have grabbed the second position nationally, securing 99.25% marks in aggregate.
Besides, as many as 9 students of CMS, namely, Muskan Tandon and Ibrahim Kamal of CMS Mahanagar Campus; Shashwat Kumar of CMS Aliganj Campus I; Ashutosh Synghal and Swasti Arya of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I; Saumya Shikhar Mishra and Utkarsh Nigam of CMS Kanpur Road Campus; Bhagyashree of CMS Chowk Campus and Shreshtha Gupta of CMS RDSO Campus are at the third position nationally, with 99% marks.
Similar trend was seen in the ICSE (Class X) Board Examinations, with Shreya Bhagat of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I securing the first position in the state with 98.80% marks and Khushi Verma of CMS Station Road Campus, securing the second position in the state with 98.60% marks. Apart from these, three CMS students namely, Mimansha Ranjan and Anushka Singh of CMS Aliganj Campus I and Komal Haswani of CMS RDSO Campus have grabbed the third position in the state securing 98.20% marks in aggregate.
A total of 2682 students of CMS appeared in ISC (Class XII) Board Examination this year, out of which 1059 students (i.e. 40% students) secured 90% and above marks and as many as 362 CMS students (i.e. 13.5% students) secured a whopping 95% and above marks.
A total of 3117 CMS students took ICSE (Class X) Board Examinations, out of which 1204 students (i.e. 39% students) secured 90% and above marks and 313 students (i.e. 10% students) got a whopping 95% and abvoe marks.
Meritorious CMS students of class 10th, 12th grabs top position in ISC and ICSE results:
This year, 5779 students of CMS took board examinations of ISC and ICSE, out of which 2263 students secured marks between 90% to 99.50%. Thus, 39% CMS students (2 out of 5 students) have thus created history by securing between 90% and 99.50% and 12% CMS students have got 95% plus marks, bringing kudos for the institution.
The ISC and ICSE Board Examinations results thus once again, made it loud and clear that City Montessori School is pioneer in imparting quality education to students. Exceptional performance of City Montessori School students pinned Lucknow city on the national educational map.
Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that tomorrow on Tuesday, 15th May at 7.30 am, all the 2263 CMS toppers will take out a grand Victory March celebrating the historic and unprecedented result of the institution.
Hon’ble Smt Rita Bahuguna Joshi will be the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Victory March will begin from Maqdumpur Police Chowki at Gomti Nagar Extension and reach its destination at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium.
After the Victory March, a grand Meritorious Students’ Honouring Ceremony will be held at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium wherein these 2263 outstanding and brilliant trail blazers, who have secured 90% to 99.50% in ISC & ICSE Board Examinations 2018 will be felicitated.
The founder of CMS chains, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi said that with the ISC and ICSE results we are very happy with the outcome of board examinations. I.S.C. Lucknow has three students from the seven students who have secured first place in the country (Class XII) examination and the three students have been named on the educational map of the country due to the presence of City Montessori School.
In the examination of the ISC-2018, the first three places in the country are from CMS. There are only 14 students. We are very happy that these students are not lagging behind in academic excellence as well as participating in any curricular competitions such as music, sports, debate or social service etc.
Dr. Gandhi has further said that the ISC (Class 12), the three students who got first position in the national merit list, will join CMS on May 15th. A cash prize of Rs. One lakh will be awarded at the meritorious students’ honor ceremony being organized in Gomti Nagar II campus auditorium.

As many as six new nursing colleges to be functional in Haryana soon
Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal shared that the construction work of six nursing colleges in the state will be completed soon and classes will commence in the month of July. Not only this, the new building of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Panchkula has also completed its construction work.
Adding on to this, he shared that, till now, the classes are being held in another building, the chief secretary said while presiding over the review meeting of development projects worth more than Rs 100 crore here.
CHIEF SECRETARY REVIEWED MAJOR PROJECTS
The Chief Secretary reviewed several major projects, including power, health, medical, and technical education in the state, and directed the concerned officials to complete them within the stipulated time period.
COLLEGES UNDER CONSTRUCTION
He said that the construction of nursing colleges in Dherdu village of Kaithal, Khedi Ram Nagar village of Kurukshetra, Kheranwali village of Panchkula, Aura and Dayalpur village of Faridabad, and Sadatpur village of Rewari is under construction.
The construction work of Medical college in Koriawas in Narnaul, Medical College at Jind, Bhiwani, and Dental College at Nalhar is being completed at a fast pace. The work of the second phase of Kalpana Chawla Medical College is also undergoing.
