Yusuf Pathan inaugurates Cricket Academy of Pathans in Lucknow
Lucknow: Cricket Academy of Pathans opens its maiden center in Lucknow in the presence of ace cricketer Mr. Yusuf Pathan and Mr. Harmeet Vasdev, Managing Director (CAP), at a press conference held at Stars of God School complex, Keshav Nagar, Sitapur Road, Lucknow. The academy will employ state-of-the-art coaching techniques to teach and develop budding cricketers in Lucknow.
CAP is currently nurturing talent in Delhi, Noida, Jaipur, Ranchi, Ludhiana, Kota, Patna, Bengaluru, Rajkot, Mainpuri, Hisar, Morbi, Akola, Port Blair, and Lunawada.
With a team of qualified mentors, along with Pathan brothers – Irfan and Yusuf initiated CAP around three years back. The brothers started the venture because of the passion and enthusiasm they shared for the game.
Recently, 45 students have already been selected to play at district and state levels. Trials for scholarships are also in full swing, aiming to aid the talented with the right resources. CAP seems to move the required step in the right direction and is also known for transforming raw talent into players who were later selected to play at a district level/state level.
Yusuf Pathan, Director, Cricket Academy of Pathans, says, “The CAP program has set focus each week with varied outcomes depending on the level of the participants. CAP programs give a holistic approach to the developing cricketers. The required mental approach, knowledge of the game and experience, is equally important as the physical skills.
The CAP program creates intrinsically motivated players who thrive on competition and understand that there are consequences to actions”. Yusuf Pathan also spent quality time interacting with students and their parents. He advised students on the different pathways that they could follow to succeed in the sport and also made them aware of the many different qualities learnt playing the sport that aid the personal development of an individual. CAP has tied up with UK based Cricket technology partner- Pitch Vision to track students’ performance in real time via a cutting-edge technology program which generates videos and statistical analysis of students at the academy. This technology closes the gap between the Pathan brothers, coaches and the students.

What monkey fled with a bag containing evidence in it: Read full story
The court, generally, considers a person who commit a crime and the one who destroys the evidence, as criminals in the eyes of law. But what if an animal destroys the evidence of a crime committed by a human.
In a peculiar incident in Rajasthan, a monkey fled away with the evidence collected by the police in a murder case. The stolen evidence included the murder weapon (a blood-stained knife).
The incident came to light when the police appeared before the court and they had to provide the evidence in the hearing.
The hearing was about the crime which took place in September 2016, in which a person named Shashikant Sharma died at a primary health center under Chandwaji police station. After the body was found, the deceased’s relatives blocked the Jaipur-Delhi highway, demanding an inquiry into the matter.
Following the investigation, the police had arrested Rahul Kandera and Mohanlal Kandera, residents of Chandwaji in relation to the murder. But, when the time came to produce the evidence related to the case, it was found that the police had no evidence with them because a monkey had stolen it from them.
In the court, the police said that the knife, which was the primary evidence, was also taken by the monkey. The cops informed that the evidence of the case was kept in a bag, which was being taken to the court.
The evidence bag contained the knife and 15 other important evidences. However, due to the lack of space in the malkhana, a bag full of evidence was kept under a tree, which led to the incident.
