In the last few years in India, unmarried women have become more active in sexual relations. They are well-educated and know about condoms. This is the reason why such unmarried women use condoms more than married men for safe sex.
In the last decade, cases of condom use during sex of women without marriage have increased 6 times.

Survey shows that in 10 years, the number of condoms used in such women has increased from two percent to 12 percent.
This has been revealed from the survey among unmarried women between 15 and 49 years. 34 percent of unmarried women prefer to use condoms for safe sex. However, the majority of condoms have been used between 20 and 24 years old women.
61 percent of men surveyed believe condoms to be reliable and men argue that protecting from sexually transmitted diseases protects condoms from unwanted pregnancy. According to the survey, 3 out of 8 men believe that taking care of the womb is the work of women, so men should not worry about it.
99 percent of married men and women know of at least one contraceptive method. Contraceptive use among married women is 54 percent. Only 10% of married women between 15 and 49 years use the modern contraceptive method.
Unmarried women use more modern contraceptives. At the same time, the figures for taking measures to prevent pregnancy through sterilization in women between 25 and 49 years are high. The survey found less than one percent of the number of women using emergency contraceptive pills.
The survey shows that 65 percent of Sikh and Buddhist women used the modern contraceptive. At the same time, this figure was only 38 percent among Muslim women.
Contraceptives are mostly used by wealthy people. 36 percent of the poor section, while 53 percent women of the affluent family use contraceptive.
