UP : Those found suspicious in terms of symptoms will be subjected to an antigen test within 12 hours

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to improve the medical system of Lucknow and Kanpur city regarding Corona. Those found suspicious in terms of symptoms will be subjected to an antigen test within 12 hours. People exposed to positive patients will be searched within 24 hours.

While reviewing Lucknow and Kanpur Nagar video conferencing on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said that in both the districts, the instructions for medical testing, contact tracing and door-to-door survey work have been done better.

Increase the number of beds for Covid patients at KGMU, SGPGI and RMLIMS in Lucknow. To increase the number of beds in Covid hospitals running in private hospitals and institutions, the district administration should prepare and implement action plan and increase the number of ventilator beds.

Care should be taken to ensure that there is no shortage of oxygen in Covid and non-Covid hospitals. ” CM Yogi further said.

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
