‘Thar’, the powerful off-roading SUV of the country’s leading automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra, is quite popular among customers. Recently, the company has informed that since the launch this car has been receiving tremendous response from customers and so far the booking of this powerful off-roader has reached 39 thousand. Which is a huge success for this SUV and for the company. The special thing is that 45 percent of Thar’s automatic petrol and diesel variants have been booked. After which it is being said that in some states the waiting period of the new 2020 Thar has now increased to 10 months.

In view of the tremendous booking of Thar and keeping in mind the shortage of its availability, the booking of its standard variants and AX trim has been stopped for the time being. One of the reasons for the success of this great off-roader of the company is also being considered its automatic transmission.

However, the company is trying to get Thar delivered to customers as quickly as possible. Also, for the first time, Thar has been introduced in a petrol engine, which has certainly attracted many customers to SUVs.

At the same time, recently Mahindra & Mahindra informed about the recall of 1,577 units of Thar with its diesel powertrain. It was said on behalf of the company that with the help of this recall, we will be able to replace the bad camshaft of 1,577 units of Mahindra Thar.

Mahindra Thar made between 7 September and 25 December 2020 is being taken in this recall. During the recall, the SUVs will also be thoroughly checked and any problems encountered in them will be corrected and returned to the customers.
