CM Yogi gives out a sum of one thousand rupees to 23 lakh construction workers

On Wednesday Yogi Adityanath gifted generously to the construction workers of Uttar Pradesh. An amount of 1 thousand rupees was transferred to the accounts of 23 lakh workers of the state under the disaster relief scheme. Moreover, CM Yogi also launched the registration portal for the workers of the unorganized sector. The Yogi government has also decided to give a maintenance allowance of one thousand rupees for 1 month to the daily wage laborers who are affected due to Corona.

CM Yogi launched www.upssb.in portal to register workers of the unorganized sector in the Uttar Pradesh State Social Security Board through video conferencing at the CM residence at 11.30 am. Where he transferred an amount of 230 crores online for construction workers.

To control the pandemic, UP government had decided to impose a partial corona curfew. Fortunately it was successful in curbing the speed of corona infection. But it had an impact on daily wage workers, track and ferry shopkeepers. For which CM Yogi Adityanath decided to give maintenance allowance of one thousand rupees to such people.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
