Results of CBSE Class 12 to be announced before August 15, marking criteria yet to be finalized
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be finalising the marking criteria for the Class 12 students in a few days. Several media reports also state that the CBSE Class 12 results 2021 will be released for the students before August 15.
Yesterday, a source confirmed that the CBSE marking criteria for Class 12 will most likely be released by June 16 or 17 and the results will be out in a month, though no official announcement in this regard has been made by the board yet.
Once the evaluation criteria for Class 12 students are finalised by CBSE, the same will be submitted to the Supreme Court. Once approved by the required authorities, the CBSE marking criteria will also be published in its official website for the students to see.
CBSE had set up a 13-member committee to decide on the evaluation criteria for Class 12 students, as the CBSE board exams 2021 stand cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They will consider all the recommendations and then finalise the criteria.
Pre-boards, previous year’s marks to be considered
As of now, several possibilities for the marking of Class 12 students are being considered by the students. It is expected that the Class 12 students will be marked on the basis of their results in the pre-board exams conducted this academic year.
It is also being speculated that previous years’ results (Class 11 and Class 10) will also be taken into consideration for the CBSE Class 12 marking criteria 2021. The exact details of the entire evaluation criteria will most likely be out by the end of this week.
CBSE has dismissed the possibility of implementing a grading system for Class 12 students for this academic year. It is also speculated that the CBSE Class 12 result 2021 will be declared by the board on or before August 15 this year.
