Japanese company Yamaha Motors launch FZ-X in Indian Market: Read features and price here

Yamaha Motors has announced the launch of the new FZ-X in the Indian market. The new model joins the FZ series in the company’s Indian portfolio and the prices for the motorcycle start from Rs 1,16,800 onwards. The Bluetooth-enabled version is available for Rs 1,19,800. Also, the Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster works with Y-connect app.

The new Yamaha FZ-X shares its engine with the FZ FI series.  The 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine produces 12.2bhp of power at 7,250rpm and 13.6Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox.

The hardware, too, is similar to the existing FZ series, and the new FZ-X uses telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock to perform the suspension tasks. The braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net includes a single-channel ABS.

In terms of design, the new Yamaha FZ-X draws styling cues from the XSR range. The motorcycle features a round LED headlamp at the front, aluminium-finished brackets, a tall-set handlebar, a USB charger, and a boxy fuel tank. The new FZ-X is available in three colours – Matt Copper, Metallic Blue, and Matte Black.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). In addition to this, the company has also introduced a model-year update for the Hyundai Creta with new feature additions.

The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –

– 16-inch black alloy wheels

– Smartphone wireless charger

– Rear Disc Brakes

– Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

– Vehicle Stability Management (VSM)

– Hill start assist control (HAC)

– Power window auto up/down

Mechanically, the SUV continues to be powered by the existing petrol and diesel engine options.
