Big update regarding JEE Mains Exams: Read here

Amid the second wave of the novel Coronavirus, NEET, JEE aspirants are worried regarding the entrance examination as till now there is no final update on whether the exams will be conducted or not. According to PTI, the Ministry of Education is currently contemplating whether to conduct the pending editions of JEE Mains in July and August or not and whether the medical entrance exam NEET can be shifted to September or not.

However, a final decision in this regard is yet to be taken and the Ministry is in process of reviewing the Covid-19 situation across states and UTs.

“The pending editions of JEE Mains are likely to be conducted either at the end of July or August with a fortnight’s gap between the two tests. NEET is likely to be pushed to September,” a source said, reported by PTI.

JEE Main 2021

This year, NTA is conducting the JEE Mains four times to give flexibility for students and a chance to improve their marks. The first phase was held in February, followed by the second phase which was held in March. The third and fourth phases were scheduled to be conducted in April and May. However, amid a rise in cases, it was postponed.

The JEE-Advanced exam, which is conducted for admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology and the National Institutes of Technology, was also postponed.

NEET UG 2021

On the other hand, the NEET UG 2021 is expected to be held in August 2021, and the registration for the same was earlier scheduled to begin on May 1, but it was postponed. Till now there is no news on when the registration process for NEET UG 2021 will begin, or whether the exam will be held in August or not.

As many as six new nursing colleges to be functional in Haryana soon

Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal shared that the construction work of six nursing colleges in the state will be completed soon and classes will commence in the month of July. Not only this, the new building of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Panchkula has also completed its construction work.

Adding on to this, he shared that, till now, the classes are being held in another building, the chief secretary said while presiding over the review meeting of development projects worth more than Rs 100 crore here.

CHIEF SECRETARY REVIEWED MAJOR PROJECTS

The Chief Secretary reviewed several major projects, including power, health, medical, and technical education in the state, and directed the concerned officials to complete them within the stipulated time period.

COLLEGES UNDER CONSTRUCTION

He said that the construction of nursing colleges in Dherdu village of Kaithal, Khedi Ram Nagar village of Kurukshetra, Kheranwali village of Panchkula, Aura and Dayalpur village of Faridabad, and Sadatpur village of Rewari is under construction.

The construction work of Medical college in Koriawas in Narnaul, Medical College at Jind, Bhiwani, and Dental College at Nalhar is being completed at a fast pace. The work of the second phase of Kalpana Chawla Medical College is also undergoing.
