Great sportsmanship and calm attitude are common among New Zealand players. There are only a few players in every team who become an example for their sportsmanship, but all the players of the Kiwi team are more than one. In such a situation, it is difficult to believe that a New Zealand website has insulted Indian captain Virat Kohli after winning the World Test Championship. New Zealand’s sports website TheAccNZ has posted a picture that will make you feel very bad to see.

TheAccNZ website posted a picture on its Instagram page showing a woman with a man strapped around her neck. In this photo, the woman is described as Kyle Jameson, while the man who has a strap around his neck has Virat Kohli’s name written in front of him. This photo is like a very ugly joke in which Virat Kohli has been insulted.

Let TheAccNZ have published this picture after Kyle Jameson dismissed Virat Kohli in both the innings. In the first innings of the World Test Championship final, Jameson got Virat out LBW, while in the second innings he was caught behind the wicket by Jameson. Jameson’s sharp bowling overshadowed Team India and New Zealand became the World Champion of Tests.

The left-handed batsman from Haryana is garnering praise from all quarters for the way he’s finishing games regularly in the most exciting IPL season.

Gavaskar reckons Tewatia’s whirlwind knock in Sharjah (in IPL 2020) where he smashed West Indies pacer Sheldon Cottrell for five sixes in an over, gave him the confidence that he belongs to the big stage.

Speaking on Cricket Live on Star Sports, Gavaskar said, “That assault on Sheldon Cottrell in Sharjah gave him the belief to do the impossible and the confidence that he belongs here. We saw the impossible (he did with the bat) the other day as well. There’s no twitching or touching the pads (which shows a batter’s nervousness) when he bats in the death overs. He just waits for the ball to be delivered and plays his shots. He’s got all the shots in the book, but most importantly his temperament to stay cool in a crisis is brilliant.”

Gavaskar has also nicknamed the 28-year-old cricketer the ‘ice-man’ and lauded Tewatia’s ability to remain unruffled during the tense moments.
