Hero electric has revised the prices of its products after the increase in the FAME-II subsidy. Previously, we reported the updated prices of the Hero Optima range. Here we bring you the new prices for the Hero Photon and NYX electric scooters. Post the price revision, the Photon NX is available at Rs 71,440 while the NYX HX (Dual Battery) is listed at Rs 62,954.
The Hero Nyx HX uses three lithium-ion battery packs that are claimed to deliver a range between 82km and 210km. The top speed of the B-2-B focussed electric scooter is rated at 42kmph. The Photon HX, on the other hand, boasts a top speed of 45kmph and delivers a range of 108km per charge. Both electric scooters qualify as high-speed products and thus require a registration.
The benefits of the FAME-II subsidy have been extended until 31 March, 2024. The government has also revised the subsidy value, increasing it to Rs 15,000 per kWh. The maximum cap on the electric two-wheeler’s cost has also been increased to 40 per cent as against 20 per cent previously.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –
