From ICC to all the big cricketers congratulated Dada on his birthday
Former India captain and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly celebrated his 49th birthday on Thursday and received a lot of wishes from the cricket fraternity and fans. From Virender Sehwag to Dinesh Karthik, the ICC and social media are flooded with love and pictures of ‘Dada’ with the hashtag Happy Birthday Dada.
Ganguly was considered India’s game-changer in international cricket during the first decade of the 21st century. Bengal Tiger has a huge fan base after him like captain MS Dhoni. Who celebrated his 40th birthday the previous day.
The International Cricket Council tweeted Ganguly’s international record and wished him a happy birthday. Kuldeep Yadav said in his tweet that Happy Birthday to one of the best people in India and thank you for everything you have done for Indian cricket. God bless you.
Dinesh Karthik wished Ganguly in Bengali and said Shubho JohnModin Dada He further said that under your captaincy and your support can never forget my debut for India. After this Virender Sehwag said that only a few people can match Dada’s passion, Dada’s intention. Dada, may you always be in good health.

Sunil Gavaskar gives his opinion of GT allrounder Rahul Tewatia
The left-handed batsman from Haryana is garnering praise from all quarters for the way he’s finishing games regularly in the most exciting IPL season.
Gavaskar reckons Tewatia’s whirlwind knock in Sharjah (in IPL 2020) where he smashed West Indies pacer Sheldon Cottrell for five sixes in an over, gave him the confidence that he belongs to the big stage.
Speaking on Cricket Live on Star Sports, Gavaskar said, “That assault on Sheldon Cottrell in Sharjah gave him the belief to do the impossible and the confidence that he belongs here. We saw the impossible (he did with the bat) the other day as well. There’s no twitching or touching the pads (which shows a batter’s nervousness) when he bats in the death overs. He just waits for the ball to be delivered and plays his shots. He’s got all the shots in the book, but most importantly his temperament to stay cool in a crisis is brilliant.”
Gavaskar has also nicknamed the 28-year-old cricketer the ‘ice-man’ and lauded Tewatia’s ability to remain unruffled during the tense moments.
