Chetak electric scooter opens its booking: Read more

Bajaj Auto opened bookings for the much-awaited Chetak electric scooter in Nagpur from July 16, at an initial token amount of Rs 2,000. Previously, the booking slots available for Pune and Bangalore were fully subscribed to in less than 48 hours and the same is anticipated in Nagpur as well. The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter will be available at Bajaj dealerships in Nagpur at a price starting at Rs. 1.42 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto said, “We are anticipating a great response from customers in Nagpur, widely regarded as one of the greenest cities in India. First shipments of Chetak for bookings will begin by the end of July.”

With a full charge, the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter can offer a range of about 90km in its Eco mode.

The Chetak EV is available in two variants Premium and Urbane. According to the company, the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter gets fully charged in 5 hours from a wall charger, and juices up by 25 per cent in an hour. With a full charge, the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter can offer a range of about 90km in its Eco mode. It has three riding modes (including a reverse mode) that offer the rider the choice to navigate traffic with ease.

The company also offers owners to receive notifications in case an unauthorized access or accident occurs on its myChetak App. The Chetak Premium variant is available in four colours – Indigo Metallic, Velutto Rosso, Brooklyn Black and Hazelnut, while the Chetak Urbane variant is available in two colours Cyber White and Citrus Rush.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). In addition to this, the company has also introduced a model-year update for the Hyundai Creta with new feature additions.

The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –
