Skoda’s SUV rocked soon after the launch, Kushaq’s sales increased by 234 percent

Czech Republic’s leading car maker Skoda’s new SUV Skoda Kushaq and sedan Skoda Octavia were launched. Since its launch, the new SUV has been receiving a great response from the customers. Within a month of its launch, due to this SUV, the company has seen a jump of 234 percent in sales. The company has given this information through a press release while releasing the sales figures.

In fact, a total of 3,080 vehicles of Skoda India have been sold in July 2021. This is 234% more than in July last year. Let us tell you that in July last year, 922 vehicles of the company were sold. At the same time, compared to the last month, the company has achieved a growth of 320 percent. In June 2021, 734 vehicles of the company were sold. According to the company, the reason for the increase in sales is the launch of Skoda Kushak. Let us inform that within a week of launch, Skoda Kushak had got 2000 bookings, while till now the car has got around 6000 bookings.

The starting price of Skoda Kushaq is Rs 10.50 Lakh (ex-showroom price). It comes in two petrol engine options. The car gets 1.0 liter 3-cylinder TSI petrol and 1.5 liter 4-cylinder TSI petrol engines. The 1.0 liter engine generates power of 113bhp and peak torque of 175Nm. At the same time, the 1.5 liter engine generates 148bhp power and 250Nm peak torque.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). In addition to this, the company has also introduced a model-year update for the Hyundai Creta with new feature additions.

The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –

Mechanically, the SUV continues to be powered by the existing petrol and diesel engine options.
