1) Hyundai Santro
The Santro name has been around for more than a decade now and is one of the favourites in the small city car category. A new Hyundai Santro with an AMT gearbox will set you back Rs 5.21 lakh and that’s quite the bargain. Its 1.1-litre engine makes 69PS and 99 Nm of torque and an excellent 20.3kmpl. The Santro is quite a smart-looking vehicle as well and comes with features like rear parking sensors, a 7-inch touchscreen and even rear AC vents.
2) Maruti Celerio
The current Maruti Celerio is powered by a 1.0-litre K10B petrol engine that produces 67 PS and 90 Nm in terms of power and torque. While the Celerio is a very basic-looking vehicle, it still proves to be an excellent choice among the cheap automatic cars. Its AMT transmission has proven to be brilliant in traffic and manages to return 21.64kmpl. With a multi-functional steering wheel, power windows and air conditioning, the Celerio automatic starts at just Rs 5.13 lakh.
3) Datsun redi-GO

The redi-GO comes with a decent amount of features such as an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, a rear-view camera and a bunch of touches on the exterior to make this look a lot more lively than it should.
4) Maruti S-Presso

5) Renault Kwid
Quite easily one of the better-looking vehicles on the list happens to be the cheapest vehicle. The Kwid has been a game-changer with its good looks and its automatic variant starting from just Rs 4.58 lakh. Powering the Kwid is a 1-litre petrol engine which produces 68PS and 91 Nm of torque.
