HP Chromebook 11a – Rs 21,999

The latest affordable laptop offering by HP for students, the all-new HP Chromebook 11a checks several right boxes. It comes in a portable form factor, has an easy user interface and promises tons of Google suite of apps, including Google Assistant.

The highlight, however, is the touchscreen display on the laptop. The 11.6-inch display comes with a 1366×768 screen resolution, 153PPI pixel density and 220 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by MediaTek MT8183 octa-core processor and carries 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB eMMC storage.

There are ample connectivity options as well, including Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, USB 2.0 Type-C port, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card reader, which also doubles up as your expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD card.

At Rs 21,999, the HP Chromebook 11a is an excellent option for students who want an affordable laptop for schoolwork, including attending online classes, doing a bit of project work, or collaborative projects on Google Docs, Sheets or Slides with automatic saving of files.

Asus Chromebook Flip C214 – Rs 23,999

The device comes with an 11.6-inch LED display with 1366×768 pixels (HD+) screen resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Celeron N4020 processor and comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal eMMC storage that is further expandable via microSD.

Being a Chromebook, it comes with Google’s suite of apps integrated within the OS. There is Google Play Store to download any Android apps as well. In short, the operating system is way too light and clutterfree to experience any lag on the device.

We found the Asus Chromebook Flip to be a very potent device for basic work that involves typing or excel sheets or such web-based services.

Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3 – Rs 29,999

a laptop computerLenovo launched its lightweight laptop, weighing under 1 kg, in July this year. The new Lenovo device comes with a 10.23-inch touchscreen display that boasts 1920×1200 pixels resolution and 330 nits of brightness.

The device is powered by an Intel Celeron processor and comes with 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD and Intel Integrated Graphics graphics. It runs Windows 10 out-of-the-box.

The IdeaPad Duet 3 also comes with a 5-megapixel camera at the back and a 2-megapixel selfie shooter. It supports Dolby Audio, HD Audio chip, two 1W stereo speakers and Lenovo Digital Pen. The laptop claims a battery life of up to 7 hours on a single charge.

HP 15-BA022AX – Rs 29,990

Connectivity options on the laptop include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB ports, HDMI Port, Multi Card Slot, VGA Port, Mic In, RJ45 (LAN) ports. The device is a bit heavy, with 2.19 kg of weight but comes with features like a full-size island-style keyboard and HP TrueVision HD Webcam.

Acer Aspire E ES-15 – Rs 28,499

The laptop weighs a total of 2.40 kg. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth, Ethernet, 3 USB ports, HDMI Port, Multi Card Slot, Mic In and RJ45 (LAN) ports.
