It’s got a semi-faired café racer front end with its own distinct LED DRL headlight unit and gets premium detailing bits like the carbon fibre infill panels, tank, side panels, front mudguard, fairing and cockpit. The new Triple RR also gets a brushed stainless-steel single silencer with black end cap which compliments the overall look of the bike and also features a distinctive rear light integrated into the tail unit with unique light signature, plus LED self-cancelling indicators. The new bike is said to be a more aggressive and sport-focused version of the latest generation Speed Triple RS naked. Both the 1200 RS and the RR motorcycles have some of their parts in common. The 1,160cc engine remains unchanged, which means the RR gets the same liquid-cooled, DOHC, in-line three that produces 180PS of max power at 10,750rpm and 125Nm of grunt at 9,000rpm. Both the RR and the RS also share the same aluminium frame, subframe and fuel tank as well, but that’s about it as far as similarities go.a close up of a motorcycleBehind the wind deflector of the semi-faired bike sits a 5-inch TFT dash with Bluetooth connectivity.
