Skoda Auto India introduced the new Rapid Matte Edition in the country at Rs 11.99 lakh for the manual variant and Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the automatic variant. The new Skoda Rapid Matte Edition is available in an exclusive carbon steel matte color which adds to its style statement. The new Rapid Matte Edition will be powered by the same 1.0 L TSI engine mated to both manual and automatic transmissions. The Skoda Rapid retails at a starting price of Rs 7.79 lakh and ranges out at Rs 13.29 lakh for the Rapid Monte Carlo edition. The Skoda Rapid is available with only a single petrol option but with both manual and automatic transmission options.

The glossy black door handle is exclusively for the Rapid Matte Edition and heightens the profile.

At the rear, the addition of the rear diffusor, glossy black tailgate spoiler and the black trunk lip garnish gives a sporty avatar to the Rapid Matte Edition. All black alloy wheels are exclusive to the Skoda Rapid Matte Edition.
