Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur made a grand launch of National News Channel News India. During this, Dr. Loganathan Murugan, Minister of State, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs were also present at the News India office in Film City. The chairman of Omega TV Media Pvt Ltd, B.S. Tomar welcomed the three ministers and assured that News India will become the voice of the nation.

 

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur in a special conversation with News India Editor-in-Chief Sarfaraz Saifi said that media as the fourth pillar of democracy has a big responsibility. India is a country with a large population of youth. Those who are helping in the development of the country. In such a situation, it is expected that News India channel will raise the voice of the youth prominently. He said that I am sure that News India channel will highlight all the problems of the society, from which other channels are missing.

 

Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal launched News India’s theme song ‘Jan Jan Mein Nationalism Ho’. Arjun Ram Meghwal praised the theme song of the channel. The way the entire country has been talked about in the theme song, it will prove helpful in the country’s Navnirman. Congratulating News India, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal conveyed his best wishes for moving forward on the path of continuous progress.

 

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan today launched News India website. Ale. Murugan also congratulated the entire team of News India. Ale. Murugan said the range of news on the News India website is astounding. He said that the website of News India is like a fresh window of air for Hindi speaking people, which is giving full information to the people of every section of the society.

Sarfaraz Saifi, Editor-in-Chief of News India, a channel launched from Film City, said that the journey from zero to here in just 100 days was quite challenging but the young professional team of News India made it possible. He said that the channel will take up the issues related to the nation and will become the voice of the nation from village to city. Manish Awasthi, Editorial Director, News India said that News India will have a complete identity as a neutral channel. According to Pashupati Sharma, Managing Editor, News India, launching a channel in such a short span of time is possible only because of a hardworking and committed professional team.

News India has created a ruckus with Operation Anthootha on the very first day with a grand launch. What monkey fled with a bag containing evidence in it: Read full story

The court, generally, considers a person who commit a crime and the one who destroys the evidence, as criminals in the eyes of law. But what if an animal destroys the evidence of a crime committed by a human.

In a peculiar incident in Rajasthan, a monkey fled away with the evidence collected by the police in a murder case. The stolen evidence included the murder weapon (a blood-stained knife).

The incident came to light when the police appeared before the court and they had to provide the evidence in the hearing.

The hearing was about the crime which took place in September 2016, in which a person named Shashikant Sharma died at a primary health center under Chandwaji police station. After the body was found, the deceased’s relatives blocked the Jaipur-Delhi highway, demanding an inquiry into the matter.

Following the investigation, the police had arrested Rahul Kandera and Mohanlal Kandera, residents of Chandwaji in relation to the murder. But, when the time came to produce the evidence related to the case, it was found that the police had no evidence with them because a monkey had stolen it from them.

In the court, the police said that the knife, which was the primary evidence, was also taken by the monkey. The cops informed that the evidence of the case was kept in a bag, which was being taken to the court.

The evidence bag contained the knife and 15 other important evidences. However, due to the lack of space in the malkhana, a bag full of evidence was kept under a tree, which led to the incident.
