Great News! Yamaha FZS 25 gets new color and shape: Check price here
Yamaha Motors has launched the MY2022 updates for its quarter-litre streetfighter bike in the form of new colour options. Available in two variants, it is the 2022 Yamaha FZS 25 that gets new Matte Copper and Matte Black colour options, while the FZ 25 does not receive any change in its colour roster. Mechanically there are no changes, nor are there any feature additions. The FZ 25 is priced at Rs 1.39 lakh while the FZS 25 is priced at Rs 1.43 lakh (both prices ex-showroom).
Visually, the motorcycles do not get any changes except for the new colours on the FZS 25. Both still feature the split DRL and LED headlamp design, the FZS gets the taller visor and brush guard to keep your hands safe. The FZ 25 continues to be sold in Racing Blue and Metallic Black colours and then there’s the Monster Energy MotoGP edition to add flair if you opt for it.

Going forward, under ‘The Call of the Blue’ brand strategy, the company will continue to offer more excitement to its target audience as a part of its commitment in India.”, said Eishin Chihana, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India speaking on the new launch.
Features wise, there is no change. The old multi-function negative LCD instrument cluster remains, bi-functional LED headlamp, under cowling, side stand engine cut-off and dual-channel ABS. It is light too, weighing in at 153kg for the FZ 25 and just a kilo lighter for the FZS 25.
Yamaha FZ 25 and FZS 25 is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine making 20bhp and 20Nm of torque. Gearing is handled by the 5-speed gearbox. Suspension wise the bikes get telescopic forks at the front and 7-step adjustable mono-shock rear. Front discs are 282mm and rear discs are 220mm, both get dual-channel ABS for improved braking performance. Yamaha FZ 25 and Yamaha FZS 25 compete with Suzuki Gixxer 250, Bajaj Dominar 250 in the quarter-litre naked bike category.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –
