Suzuki Katana 2022 unveiled: Check features and price here
Suzuki has taken the wraps off the 2022 Katana for international markets. And for the new model year, the motorcycle with the iconic moniker gets minor updates.
Beginning with the mechanicals, the bike is now Euro 5 compliant and gets revisions to its performance. The 2022 Katana churns out 150bhp; 3bhp more than before. Moreover, Suzuki has also updated its electronic suite with a bidirectional quickshifter as standard, a revised throttle-by-wire system, and a reworked five-level traction control system.
Adding to the list of upgrades, the 2022 Suzuki Katana also comes with rubber-mounted handlebars, an upgraded slipper clutch, and an instrument cluster as well. Lastly, Suzuki has also added new colour schemes to complete the 2022 upgrade. There is a Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Solid Iron Gray to choose from.
Now, the Katana is an interesting-looking motorcycle with impressive underpinnings. However, when it will be launched in India is still unconfirmed as Suzuki is yet to launch the BS6-compliant GSX-S1000- the bike the Katana is based on along with its other big bikes like the VStrom 1050 and GSX-S1000GT in our country.
