But today we will tell you such a story related to such Ganesh ji, about which you hardly know. Yes, today we will tell you why Tulsi is not used during Ganesh worship.

Actually, there is a legend behind it. According to this story, once Ganapati ji was doing penance on the banks of the Ganges. On the same banks of the Ganges, the godly girl Tulsi had also reached there, doing a pilgrimage for her marriage. Ganesh ji was sitting on a throne studded with gems and his image looked very adorable in a necklace studded with many gems on his body with sandalwood paste.

Tulsi’s mind was attracted towards him after seeing Ganesh ji merged in penance. He lifted Ganpati ji from penance and proposed marriage to him. Ganapati ji got very angry due to the breaking of his penance. Ganesha rejected the marriage proposal of Tulsi Devi. Tulsi Devi became very angry on not hearing from Ganesh ji, after which Tulsi Devi cursed Ganesh ji that she would have two marriages.

At the same time, Ganesh ji also got angry and cursed Tulsi Devi that she would be married to an Asura. On hearing this curse, Tulsi ji realized her mistake and started apologizing to Ganesh ji. Then Ganesha said that you will be married to the demon Shankhchurna, but after that you will take the form of a plant. Neither your curse will go away nor mine. I will become husband of Riddhi and Siddhi and you will also be married to a demon. But in the end you will become the beloved of Lord Vishnu and Shri Krishna and in Kaliyuga you will be worshiped as a plant along with Lord Vishnu but Tulsi will not be used in my worship.

Following the investigation, the police had arrested Rahul Kandera and Mohanlal Kandera, residents of Chandwaji in relation to the murder. But, when the time came to produce the evidence related to the case, it was found that the police had no evidence with them because a monkey had stolen it from them.

In the court, the police said that the knife, which was the primary evidence, was also taken by the monkey. The cops informed that the evidence of the case was kept in a bag, which was being taken to the court.

The evidence bag contained the knife and 15 other important evidences. However, due to the lack of space in the malkhana, a bag full of evidence was kept under a tree, which led to the incident.
