Uber India boss turns driver gives drive to his passengers
Recently, office-goers booking an Uber were in for a pleasant surprise. They booked a cab and the driver was none other than Prabhjeet Singh, the chief executive officer of Uber India. Amazed, some of the passengers appreciated the cab-aggregator app`s head on social media and wrote about their encounter with him. Turns out, Singh was on the road for a part of his primary research.
Madhuvanthi Sundararajan was lucky to be the first passenger to encounter this experience, sharing it on her LinkedIn profile, she wrote, “It was a regular day, I got ready to leave to office and booked an Uber. The Uber driver immediately pinged ‘I am on my way’ without asking for my drop location. I was already very impressed. I waited downstairs when the car came into my society. The driver said – Hi Madhuvanthi, I am the CEO of Uber India and you are my first passenger today. Would you be willing to do this ride?”
By tagging Uber, She further wrote, “Prabhjeet Singh /Uber, you made my day. This is a superb initiative. Huge respect for wanting to understand things on-ground.”

Improved version of Hyundai Creta launched in Indian market: Check it out here
Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). In addition to this, the company has also introduced a model-year update for the Hyundai Creta with new feature additions.
The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –

– 16-inch black alloy wheels
– Smartphone wireless charger
– Rear Disc Brakes
