See Pics inside: Yamaha YZF-R3 available in new colours
Motor Company has announced a new paint option for the 2022 YZF-R3 in the Taiwanese market. The motorcycle is now available in Vivid Orange paint scheme alongside the Racing Blue and Midnight Black colours in Taiwan.
The new Vivid Orange paint theme features a dual-tone finish. The orange colour is visible on the fuel tank, front fender, and upper-half of the fairing. A matching tone is also used for the R3 badge on the fairing and the stickers on the rear panel. The design, on the other hand, remains unaltered and the 2022 Yamaha YZF-R3 continues to feature a twin-pod headlight, fairing-mounted rear-view mirrors, step-up seat, split-style alloy wheels, and a side-slung exhaust with a brushed-aluminium tip.
The feature list on the 2022 model in the Taiwanese market include LED lighting, an LCD instrument cluster, and ABS tech. The hardware comprises upside-down front forks, a rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both wheels. The mechanical specifications retain the 321cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that makes 40.4bhp of power at 10,750rpm and 29.4Nm of peak torque at 9,000rpm.
The Indian launch details for the YZF-R3 are not available yet. However, we do not expect to see the updated model on our shores in the foreseeable future.
