Toyota Kirloskar Ltd unveiled telematics services at Auto Expo
Greater Noida:The Indian joint venture of Japanese auto major Toyota Kirloskar Ltd unveiled telematics services for its customers at the Auto Expo here on Thursday.
“The cloud-based telematics services under brand name Toyota Connect will give customers access to our global standard of personalised services from mid-2016,” the company said in a statement.
The integrated platform is supported by a call centre and dealer network and service providers as in Japan and the US.
“Our car owners will be able to access the call centre through a smartphone application,” Toyota Motor Corporation general manager Makoto Aihara said in the statement.
With host of services like 24X7 assisted navigation and live-traffic information, 24X7 GPS location-based road side assistance, online maintenance appointment booking, live check of service progress, e-payment etc, the dedicated service will support customer’s driving and lifestyle needs.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). In addition to this, the company has also introduced a model-year update for the Hyundai Creta with new feature additions.
The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –
