Auto Expo attracts 71,000 visitors on first public day
Greater Noida:Auto Expo 2016 attracted as many as 71,000 visitors on its first public day on Friday, event officials said.
According to the event organisers, the superbikes section of the show emerged as the biggest crowd-puller and the audience was floored by a group of superbike riders who rode in complete superbike gear.
In addition, the vintage car pavilion enthralled automobile enthusiasts by bringing alive the old world vehicles while Bollywood motor section established the Indian movie industry’s connect with popular cars.
The ‘Bollywood Motor’ section showcased vehicles which attained cult status in the Indian film industry.
Besides, the mega automobile exhibition laid great emphasis on road safety through street plays and puppet shows to drive home the vital message to the visitors.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers.
