This news is for all those candidates from all over the state, who have applied for Sales Tax Inspector (STI) examination conducted by Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). This will certainly help you out to understand the whole syllabus for the better preparation of this exam.
MPSC is the autonomous body of the Indian Government which is responsible for filling up various government and public sector departments’ vacancies with qualified candidates by organizing competitive examinations. Day by day the examination date is coming closer for the Sales Tax Inspector recruitment in various commission departments.
The authorities have already mentioned that examination will be taken during the month of March 2016. For the recruitment as a Sales Tax Inspector government department you have to prove your ability and eligibility by clearing examination first.
A written examination is the first stage of prelims examination which consists of multiple choice questions related to various fields, so those who qualify in this will attend the second stage of Mains examination. Candidates will be given 1 hours of time to attend this examination and each right question will give you 1 mark as a reward.

MPSC Sales Tax Inspector Exam Pattern 2016:
MPSC Prelims Exam Pattern:
- The written exam is conducted for 100 marks on 100 questions.
- Time duration for this exam is 1 hour.
- This exam conducted is of 10th standard level.
- It is an objective type exam and can be written in English or Marathi.
MPSC Mains Exam Pattern:
- The written exam is conducted for 200 marks for two papers.
- Paper 1 is for 100 marks on subjects of Marathi and English
- Paper 2 is for 100 marks on subjects of General Knowledge, General Aptitude and Sales Tax Subjects
- Time duration is not mentioned in this syllabus.

As many as six new nursing colleges to be functional in Haryana soon
Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal shared that the construction work of six nursing colleges in the state will be completed soon and classes will commence in the month of July. Not only this, the new building of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Panchkula has also completed its construction work.
Adding on to this, he shared that, till now, the classes are being held in another building, the chief secretary said while presiding over the review meeting of development projects worth more than Rs 100 crore here.
CHIEF SECRETARY REVIEWED MAJOR PROJECTS
The Chief Secretary reviewed several major projects, including power, health, medical, and technical education in the state, and directed the concerned officials to complete them within the stipulated time period.
COLLEGES UNDER CONSTRUCTION
He said that the construction of nursing colleges in Dherdu village of Kaithal, Khedi Ram Nagar village of Kurukshetra, Kheranwali village of Panchkula, Aura and Dayalpur village of Faridabad, and Sadatpur village of Rewari is under construction.
The construction work of Medical college in Koriawas in Narnaul, Medical College at Jind, Bhiwani, and Dental College at Nalhar is being completed at a fast pace. The work of the second phase of Kalpana Chawla Medical College is also undergoing.
