Lucknow. Yoga is now recognized worldwide as a physical, mental, and spiritual practice or discipline, that aims to transform body and mind. The effectiveness of yoga as a complementary intervention for various diseases and overall well being without dependence on medicines has been widely accepted. Jee Baba Foundation and Jee Dham in Uttarakhand has been helping many to transform their health and overall outlook towards life. Yoga and spiritual Guru Jeeshwar Baba organized a yoga training camp here today in which he elaborated various forms of Pranayama and Yoga asanas that would help in controlling lifestyle diseases and enhance overall well being of a person.

jee3Speaking to the participants at the sprawling lawns of Aaj ki Khabar premises, Jeeshwar Baba emphasized that anxiety is a huge problem in today’s world and our lives are busy and full of trying to do and manage too much and create the outcomes we want. We rush through tasks to get as much done as possible. We can’t sleep because we are thinking about everything we have to do tomorrow. We worry about everything that could go wrong. Then he elaborated the ways to reduce stress and anxiety and increase productivity.

Jeeshwar Baba said that iff you have time in your day, or even once a week, yoga and meditation can really help to relieve stress. Through yoga and meditation, we can become self aware of our bodies again and how they feel – every muscle and every spot of tension and release it. Loving your body and taking time to feel it and become aware of it again is essential. Meditation during yoga or even separate from can be extremely refreshing. Concentrating on breathing and how your body feels gives your busy mind a break. Daily worries and stresses are just that – stresses of the day – no more important than that day itself. Your mental state and body last much longer and maintaining your inner peace is more important to dealing with any daily obstacle than each obstacle itself.

The participants practiced Yoga and meditation in this one day camp and felt extremely refreshed after the session. In the coming days, more such camps are in the offing across various centers.
