LG G5 flagship goes up for pre-bookings in India at Rs. 52,990

LG has announced that its flagship device, the modular LG G5, will go on pre-bookings starting May 21 in India.

The pre-bookings will go from May 21 till May 30. Customers eager to buy the phone will be able to pre-book from retail outlets, LG branded stores, and online exclusively through Flipkart.

As a bonus, LG is giving away a LG CAM Plus – a camera grip for the G5 that gives you a better grip as well as physical buttons for the camera, and also includes a built-in battery to extend the battery life of your phone – to everyone who is pre-booking the G5 in India.

The CAM Plus is a standalone camera module which comes with a shutter, record, zoom and power button along with a comfortable grip. In addition to professional controls, the module also comes with a 1,200mAh battery. The 360 VR is a pair of VR goggles that essentially simulates the same experience as viewing a 130-inch TV from 2 meters away. The Hi-Fi Plus with B&O Play module can play high-definition audio files encoded in 32-bit at 384KHz.

There’s also an LG 360 CAM which features two cameras of 13-megapixel resolution and wide angle view of 200-degrees. It comes with 4GB of internal storage with microSD card slot and 1,200mAh battery. Last is a LG Rolling Bot, a companion device that can roll like a ball and capture videos and photos with its embedded 8-megapixel camera.
