JKP enters Limca Book of Records, Union Minister says efforts pathbreaking

Mangarh (Pratapgarh).  In today’s society, empowering women means empowering her not only with education but also with the skills that make her capable of facing any physical challenges as well. Women need to be prepared to defend themselves from any kind of physical harm and the more skills they gain, the more equipped they will be. With this in mind, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education (JKP Education), organised a Self-Defence Training Campaign that concluded with an enthralling display of martial arts by the girls. This demonstration intends to break the current record for Limca’s “LargestSelf-Defence Demonstration” of 5000 girls held on 8th March 2015 by Delhi Police Central Range. 5700 girls both form educational institutions run by JKP and other schools of the area performed in presence of Chief Guest Anupriya Patel, Union Minister and the Chief Guest of the programme, Film Actor Randeep Hooda and President of JKP Dr. Vishakha Tripathi along with various other dignitaries.

The grand display at Bhakti Dham Premises, Mangarh received huge applause and appreciation from all those present at the event. MoS for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, Anupriya Patel was truly moved by the display “ You have taken me back to my school days when girls were considered to be vulnerable but after watching your performance I can truly say that empowerment is now in your hands. I congratulate Dr. Vishakha Tripathi, Ram Puri and the master trainer Abhishek Yadav for this huge effort” said Anupriya.

 

Film Actor Randeep Hooda was a huge attraction of the event. Addressing the gathering of thousands of girls, Hooda said that he was amazed to see such a performance specially from the girls of rural background. “ Empowered women are the future of India and it gives me immense pleasure to know that JKP Education is empowering girls in the true sense. I have no doubts that all these brilliant girls will contribute handsomely to the future of the nation” he said.

 

 

Dr. Vishakha Tripathi, President of JKP Education led this drive with a training program starting from 5th until 17th of September, 2016 and was the key person behind this even. Satisfaction wrote large over her face when she saw one and all praise the efforts. “ JKP Education is committed to supporting the less advantaged of India and will continue to bring the necessary tools that our community needs to further develop society towards a brighter future. These girls will soon be a part of self confident youth of the society” , she said.

The entire management of this Limca Book of Records event was supervised by Secretary of JKP Education Ram Puri. He said that the confidence level of the participating girls that has grown leaps and bounds since the first day of the training. “The girls now have the confidence to tackle any adverse situation and feel that they can protect themselves on their own. The new skills that the girls have acquired in this training has changed their personality and outlook towards life as well ” said Ram Puri.

To support and boost the morale of the girls, DG of UP Police Mahila Samman PraJKP Presidents with studentskosth (MSP) Sutapa Sanyal was amongst them. Praising this huge initiative she said that (MSP) has also trained thousands of girls in self defense through its initiative ‘Akshaya’ and more initiatives like these are needed to make society safer for women. “ You are now the part of history” she said while addressing the students, “ Do not follow the culture of silence and your voice will be heard by the entire nation” she said. Chairperson of State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Uttar Pradesh Ms Juhie Singh also praised the organizers for their effort and asked the girls to ask for their independence and always fight for their rights.

The entire display event was a grand success after 15 days of rigorous training. With this JKP Education has added yet another feather to its cap and a place in Limca Book of Records.

What monkey fled with a bag containing evidence in it: Read full story

The court, generally, considers a person who commit a crime and the one who destroys the evidence, as criminals in the eyes of law. But what if an animal destroys the evidence of a crime committed by a human.

In a peculiar incident in Rajasthan, a monkey fled away with the evidence collected by the police in a murder case. The stolen evidence included the murder weapon (a blood-stained knife).

The incident came to light when the police appeared before the court and they had to provide the evidence in the hearing.

The hearing was about the crime which took place in September 2016, in which a person named Shashikant Sharma died at a primary health center under Chandwaji police station. After the body was found, the deceased’s relatives blocked the Jaipur-Delhi highway, demanding an inquiry into the matter.

Following the investigation, the police had arrested Rahul Kandera and Mohanlal Kandera, residents of Chandwaji in relation to the murder. But, when the time came to produce the evidence related to the case, it was found that the police had no evidence with them because a monkey had stolen it from them.

In the court, the police said that the knife, which was the primary evidence, was also taken by the monkey. The cops informed that the evidence of the case was kept in a bag, which was being taken to the court.

The evidence bag contained the knife and 15 other important evidences. However, due to the lack of space in the malkhana, a bag full of evidence was kept under a tree, which led to the incident.
