Lucknow: You all must have seen people feel very much comfortable in the atmosphere fitted with air-conditioners in our home rooms or in workplace (offices) with no space for fresh air to come in because of close doors and windows but have any idea about that how much this air-conditioner wind is harmful for our body specially for our bones as this is weakening our bones and making them halloween.

 

 

Now in same regards, the homes and offices which are considered to be symbols of modern lifestyle not only putting end on bring fresh air but also deprivation of people from sunlight, due to which there is a shortage of vitamin D in the body and the bones are weak.

 

 

Air-conditioners wind is dangerous for our bones and body:

 

 

According to Dr Raju Vaishya, Senior Bone Surgeon at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi says that during a survey conducted at around one thousand patients of pain and arthritis in the different cities of the country found that 95% of such patients is lacking vitamin- D and main reason for this is not enough sunlight.

 

 

So whenever someone complains about that he or she is having pain in knee or joints, then it is because of she/he is having problem of lack of calcium and that is causing him or her problem of starting of arthritis.

 

 

He further said that when someone did not pay attention towards deficiency of Vitamin-D and calcium this problem starts causing, so one should always pay attention to this thing and should always go for test of calcium and Vitamin-D on time as this can stop growing problem of arthritis. Apart from arthritis due to lack of food habits and calcium deficiency in childhood, the likelihood of osteoporosis is very high.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
