Airtel offers 30GB of free internet data to its users;Know how to avail it

In order to lure customers  to join  the Airtel VoLTE Beta Program, the India’s largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel the company is offering up to 30 GB of free 4G LTE data in exchange for feedback on their VoLTE service.

Under the programme, the company will offer free data of up to 30GB to select users, and seek feedback to upgrade its services and network quality.

The data will be offered to customers across three stages — the first 10 GB on downloading and enabling the VoLTE tab, the second installment will be provided after the users provide their feedback at the end of four weeks, and another 10 GB will be top loaded after eight weeks, once a detailed feedback is shared with the company.

In order to sign up for Airtel’s VoLTE Beta Program, one prerogative is that the user has to be from one the circles where it offers VoLTE. This list only includes West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Kerala, Bihar, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh. The second requirement is that the user must have a VoLTE capable phone and an Airtel 4G SIM card. Once you have these boxes ticked, you can go ahead and sign up for the Beta program.

Airtel does put in a caution for those enrolling for the program that they might run into occasional call drops and other network issues since the feature is in a testing phase. Hence, those signing up do have to weigh the pros and cons of signing up before enrolling themselves.
