Mahindra launches Marazzo MPV in India price starting from 9.99 lakh
New Delhi: Mahindra has launched the Marazzo MPV in India with introductory prices starting from Rs 9.99 lakh and going up to Rs 13.90 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). With this, the carmaker has bridged the gap between the Maruti Ertiga and the Toyota Innova both in terms of price and size.
The Marazzo is available with a standard warranty of 3 years/1 lakh km, which can be extended further. The extended warranty, which is known as Mahindra Marazzo Shield, can offer coverage up to the 5th year or for 1.5 lakh km, whichever comes first.
Mahindra Marazzo Shield can be bought for just the fourth year coverage or for both fourth and fifth year coverage. The prices of the extended warranty are based on the coverage you opt for, and when you opt for it. The details are as follows:
Mahindra Marazzo Shield upto 4 years/1,20,000km
Options Price (all inclusive)
If opted within 60 days from the date of purchase of new vehicle
Rs 11,799
If opted after 60 days but within 2 year period from date of purchase of new vehicle

Mahindra rolls out Marazzo MPV with price starting from 9.99 lakh in India:
Mahindra Marazzo Shield for 4th & 5th Year or Up to 1,50,000 kms (bought together)
Options Price (all inclusive)
If opted within 60 days from the date of purchase of new vehicle
Rs 16,518
If opted after 60 days but within 2 year period from date of purchase of new vehicle
Rs 17,699
If opted after 2 year but within the expiry of original 3 years warranty of the vehicle
Which of the three should you buy?: Buying the 4th and 5th year warranty together within the first 60 days from the date of purchase of the new vehicle makes sense for most buyers. It, however, won’t make sense in the following cases:
If you don’t intend to keep the vehicle for more than 3 years. But if you still buy the extended warranty, you can ask for a better value while selling the car as the extended warranty remains intact even after ownership changes.
If you are certain that you’ll cover more than 1.5 lakh km within the duration of the standard warranty itself.
If you do not intend to get your vehicle serviced at Mahindra authorised service stations.
In case you wish to purchase the extended warranty on the Marazzo at a later date, but within its standard warranty period, there are some conditions attached to it:
The vehicle must be covered under original warranty and should have not covered more than 3 years or 100,000km at the time of registration (for Mahindra Marazzo Shield).
The vehicle must have been maintained as per the maintenance schedule by an authorized Mahindra dealer.
The vehicle must be free of accidents at the time of registration (for Mahindra Marazzo Shield).
