The number of corona infections in the country is increasing continuously. So far, 34,61,240 people have been infected with Corona virus in India.

At the same time 62,731 people have lost their lives due to the virus. However, it is a matter of relief that 26,47,538 have been cured by defeating this virus.

The number of people recovering from Corona in the country is more than the number of active cases. The total number of active cases is 7,50,411. Meanwhile, a warning from WHO has shocked the senses.

The WHO says that once again the corona speed will increase in the winter and deaths will be even higher. Especially the elderly need to be careful in these climates.

The World Health Organization has warned that corona will wreak havoc in many parts of the world, including Europe, in the coming winter.

The organization said that during this period the number of people admitted to hospitals will increase and the death rate will also increase.

Covid toll in Karnataka is a worrying sign for state government

Even though Karnataka recorded the lowest number of Covid deaths in April since the virus struck first in 2020, the state is recording a rise in the positivity rate (1.50 per cent). Five people died from the Covid infections in April as per the statistics released by the state health department. In March, the positivity rate stood around 0.53 per cent. In the first week of April it came down to 0.38 per cent, second week registered 0.56 per cent, third week it rose to 0.79 per cent and by end of April the Covid positivity rate touched 1.19 per cent.
