Amid rising corona cases, Banglore University to conduct online exams for UG and PG students
The Bangalore University has released the notification regarding the commencement of online classes for final semester PG courses and even semester UG courses for the academic year 2020-21 on its official website. The students are advised to visit eng.bangaloreunviersity.ac.in and check the detailed notification.
For Final semester PG courses-
According to the notification ” Commencement of classes for all the final semester – IV Semesters of PG courses of facilities of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, MBS Education & Physical Education for the academic year 2020-21.
It added, ” With reference to the above, the chairpersons of all the Department of Bangalore University and Principals of affiliated Colleges offering PG Courses are informed to Commerce classes for all the final Semester- IV Semesters of PG Courses of faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Education & Physical Education (MA/MSc/Mcom/MFA/MTTM/MBA/MCA/MEd & MPEd) for the academic year 2020-21, from 05/05/2021, through online.”
For even semester, UG Courses
The notification for even semester UG courses stated that “Commencement of classes online for all even semesters (II, IV, VI &VIIth semesters) B.A/B.SC(FAD)/BCA/B.com/BBA/BHM/BVA Undergraduate courses under the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management for the academic year 2020-21, from 28.04.2021”

As many as six new nursing colleges to be functional in Haryana soon
Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal shared that the construction work of six nursing colleges in the state will be completed soon and classes will commence in the month of July. Not only this, the new building of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Panchkula has also completed its construction work.
Adding on to this, he shared that, till now, the classes are being held in another building, the chief secretary said while presiding over the review meeting of development projects worth more than Rs 100 crore here.
CHIEF SECRETARY REVIEWED MAJOR PROJECTS
The Chief Secretary reviewed several major projects, including power, health, medical, and technical education in the state, and directed the concerned officials to complete them within the stipulated time period.
COLLEGES UNDER CONSTRUCTION
He said that the construction of nursing colleges in Dherdu village of Kaithal, Khedi Ram Nagar village of Kurukshetra, Kheranwali village of Panchkula, Aura and Dayalpur village of Faridabad, and Sadatpur village of Rewari is under construction.
The construction work of Medical college in Koriawas in Narnaul, Medical College at Jind, Bhiwani, and Dental College at Nalhar is being completed at a fast pace. The work of the second phase of Kalpana Chawla Medical College is also undergoing.
