Chinese smartphone OnePlus Nord 2 likely to launch on June 10 in India: Read expected price and features

After several hints pointing at its launch, the OnePlus Nord 2 finally seems to be making its way to India. The company has put out a teaser for a new smartphone and based on all the speculations to date, it will be none other than the successor to the OnePlus Nord.

Taking to its official Twitter account, OnePlus India has shared a cryptic teaser for a new device launch. In the teaser, the company made use of hand gestures to spell words and asked its followers to “figure it out.”

The message sprawled across the image spelt “Something new is coming”, indicating an introduction of a new product by the company soon. In all probability, this device is going to be the OnePlus Nord 2, due for a launch next month.

Although the company has not confirmed a name or any other detail for the impending device, several recent speculations have hinted at the launch of the OnePlus Nord 2 now. The company even revealed its plans for the smartphone in an accidental listing earlier this week, wherein it named the  OnePlus Nord 2 as a compatible device for a particular promo offer.

That, however, was for a global promo by OnePlus. Back in India, two new OnePlus smartphones were recently  spotted in a BIS certification listing, having received their approvals for the same. The smartphones were speculated to be the OnePlus Nord 2 and the OnePlus Nord CE 5G, the successor to the OnePlus Nord N10 5G launched globally last year.

So, it is easy to see that the dots have been pointing in the direction of the upcoming launch for long. The only missing link was an official confirmation of the speculations by OnePlus. The recent cryptic message makes things certain in this regard.

It is rumoured that the company will introduce the OnePlus Nord 2 on June 10 in India. The smartphone will come as the successor to the OnePlus Nord, the budget offering that OnePlus launched in the country in July last year. More details on the smartphone are yet awaited as we near the launch date.
