The efforts of the government in barring the number of new cases has been yielding exceptional results. Uttar Pradesh has performed best in terms of conducting covid tests on a daily basis. The number of cases emerging daily has fallen down to 87 percent in this month compared to the peak of 3 lakh 10 thousand 783 patients as of 30th April. There are currently 41,214 active cases of corona and the recovery rate has increased to 96.4%.

In the state about which the experts had expressed apprehensions of one lakh new corona cases every day in May, 1,908 patients have been reported in the last 24 hours. This number of daily patients is just 5 percent against the peak condition of 38,055 patients who came on 24 April. In the last 24 hours, 6,713 people have recovered and have been discharged. In this way, till now a total of 16.28 lakh people of the state have become healthy after being freed from the corona.

According to the policy of trace, test, and treat, the Uttar Pradesh policy is getting satisfactory results. In the last 24-hours, 03 lakh 40 thousand 96 tests were done, in which 1.42 lakh samples were tested through RTPCR. Uttar Pradesh is the most covid test state. To date, testing of 04 crores 90 lakh 96 thousand 625 samples has been done here.

Covid vaccination is an infection protection cover. With the support of the Central Government, the Government of Uttar Pradesh is determined to provide vaccine-cover to all citizens at the earliest. Till now 01 crore 79 lakh 92 thousand 299 doses have been administered in the state. While 19 lakh 79 thousand 399 people in the age group of 18 to 44 have received the vaccine cover. Our goal is to cover one crore people with vaccine cover in the month of June.

An action plan should be prepared for vaccination of the concerned category such as milk seller, vegetable seller, auto, tempo, and e-rickshaw driver, cart, street vendors, roadside sellers, etc. Action should be taken to cover all these people with vaccine-cover by coordinating with the urban body or transport department. This process should be started from June 15 in all 75 districts.

In all 75 districts, the process of vaccination of people in the age group of 18 to 44 is starting from June 1. In addition, vaccination of parents of children under 12 years of age will be done on priority. In all the districts, ‘Guardian Special Booths’ have also been made for this. The slot for these ‘Parent Special’ booths will be available in the online co-win portal for the vaccine. Only parents will have vaccinations at these booths. Parents should verify the age of their children for vaccination at these booths.

In view of the assessment of experts, a proactive policy is being adopted to avoid the third wave of the corona. The establishment of PICU and NICU in all medical colleges should be completed rapidly. PICUs of 100–100 beds are to be set up in all medical colleges. There should also be a 50-bed NICU with it. This work should be done on top priority.

Through the CM Helpline and ICCC, Corona patients/family members are being communicated and their needs are being met. Now likewise, communication should be made with Post Kovid patients and patients/family members suffering from Black Fungus problem every day. All their needs should be taken care of.

In view of future requirements, oxygen plant establishment in the state is being done in a mission mode. So far, more than 415 oxygen plants have been approved in various districts. Out of these 61 plants have also become functional. Real-time monitoring of the installation work should be done. The district administration should continuously monitor the installation work of these plants. Availability of raw material or civil work should be completed in time. Uttar Pradesh will be self-sufficient in oxygen production.

While continuous efforts have reduced the intensity of the infection, the demand and supply of oxygen have come to a state of equilibrium. Oxygen audits have helped a lot in preventing wastage. 496 MT of oxygen was distributed in the last 24-hours, of which 285 MT was made available to the refiller only. They now have a backup of 5 days. In view of the availability of oxygen, industrial units have been allowed to use oxygen for their use. Industrial activities should be kept functioning normally.

The wheat procurement process is going on smoothly in the state. Whether adding new farmers, purchasing wheat or paying, this year, a new record has been made by breaking all the old records. Monitoring needs to be increased in some districts. Monitoring of daily procurement of wheat procurement is expected to be done from the level of Agricultural Production Commissioner.
