Finally Great News for Gaming Lovers! Battlegrounds Mobile India launched in the Country

Published

on

There is a good news for all Gaming fans in India as Battlegrounds Mobile India is now finally available for users who pre-registered for the game after months of anticipation.

The game is available for Beta testers at the moment until the full rollout of the game later this month.

The PUBG alternative looks and feels more or less the same as the previous game however there are some changes that players may want to know about.

Firstly, the game is still not available to everyone which means only a few selected Beta testers will get access to the game.

The game has been adopted and gone through some changes that are very similar to the Chinese version of the popular Battle Royale game.

For starters, the blood in the game is now green and that has been changed probably because the Indian Government deemed it to be a violent game.

There are also four maps users can download at the moment called Livik, Miramar, Sanhok and Karakin. These maps aren’t any different from the maps you may have seen in the previous game.

Players will also be able to transfer their old data and progress from PUBG Mobile until December 31st 2021.

In addition to the classic Battle Royale mode, players can now also play in Arcade, Arena and EvoGround modes. Apart from the new modes, the game looks identical in build to PUBG Mobile, however, oddly enough the game does not make any reference to the previous game.

While only game testers who pre-registered for the game can access the install file right now, it seems like it will be available to everyone on June 18th on the Play Store.

Battlegrounds Mobile India has currently launched without any scrutiny from the Indian government at the moment as the Centre has no power to ban the game before it launches on the Play Store.

Having said that, the Centre will keep a close eye on the game once it launches for privacy and national security concerns.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is currently the biggest game release in the country where over 20 million gamers pre-registered for the game. It will be interesting to see how Krafton handles the Indian Government after launch since many politicians are already calling for a ban on the game.
