India can become the first team to win 2 World Cups in the first attempt, this will also be the 100th victory of this century for the team
Team India and New Zealand will play the final of the ICC World Test Championship at 3 pm today. This championship has proved to be the world of Test format. The match will take place at The Aegis Bowl Stadium in Southampton, which is the neutral ground for both the teams. Earlier, the Indian team had won the first season of the T20 World Cup in 2007. Then won the title by defeating Pakistan by 5 runs in the final.
In the 21st century, the Indian team has a chance to win its 100th Test. If this happens, India will become the third team to achieve this feat. Only Australia and England have got more wins than India. Australia won 130 out of 224 Tests, lost 58 and drew 36. At the same time, the English team won 115 Tests out of 258, lost 85, while there were 58 draws.
The Indian team had won only 63 out of 336 Test matches in the last century. The Indian team has been playing Test cricket since 1932. That is, this will be the first time that our team will win 100 matches in a century. It is only 2021 now. By the end of the century, Team India can also become the most Test match winning team in the world.
Captain Virat Kohli has declared the playing-11 on Thursday evening itself. The team will land at The Aegis Bowl ground with 2 spinners and 3 pacers. Ashwin and Jadeja will handle the spin department. At the same time, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Ishant Sharma will be responsible for the pace bowling. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will open. At the same time, apart from captain Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant will be there in the middle order.

Sunil Gavaskar gives his opinion of GT allrounder Rahul Tewatia
The left-handed batsman from Haryana is garnering praise from all quarters for the way he’s finishing games regularly in the most exciting IPL season.
Gavaskar reckons Tewatia’s whirlwind knock in Sharjah (in IPL 2020) where he smashed West Indies pacer Sheldon Cottrell for five sixes in an over, gave him the confidence that he belongs to the big stage.
Speaking on Cricket Live on Star Sports, Gavaskar said, “That assault on Sheldon Cottrell in Sharjah gave him the belief to do the impossible and the confidence that he belongs here. We saw the impossible (he did with the bat) the other day as well. There’s no twitching or touching the pads (which shows a batter’s nervousness) when he bats in the death overs. He just waits for the ball to be delivered and plays his shots. He’s got all the shots in the book, but most importantly his temperament to stay cool in a crisis is brilliant.”
Gavaskar has also nicknamed the 28-year-old cricketer the ‘ice-man’ and lauded Tewatia’s ability to remain unruffled during the tense moments.
