Mercedes launches two AMG models in India, starting price at Rs 1.02 crore
Mercedes-Benz India launched two AMG models in the country today – E63 S and E 53 with a starting price of Rs 1.02 Cr and the new AMG E63S at Rs 1.70 Cr ex-showroom, pan India. Let us tell you, Mercedes offers a total of 11 products in India including 35, 43, 53, 63 and GT. With the addition of the AMG E 53 4M+ and AMG E 63 S 4M+, the company aims to consolidate its leadership in the luxury performance car segment in the country.
The Mercedes AMG E53 gets a 3-litre 6-cylinder engine with Mercedes’ EQ Boost mild hybrid system. Which claims a speed of 100 kmph in 4.4 seconds. For information, let us tell you, this performance sedan makes 430 hp power and 520 Nm peak torque, while its transmission options include a 9-speed gearbox.
These AMG vehicles get a new front section with AMG-specific radiator grille and flat LED headlamps. The central cooling air inlet in the front section is much larger than before. Talking about other updates, the rear section gets two new and improved taillights which now extend to the boot lid. While the AMG E 63S gets new 20-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels as standard, the AMG E 53 4M+ gets 19-inch light-alloy wheels in an aerodynamically optimized 5-twin-spoke design went. Notably, Mercedes has also expanded the range of exterior paint colors with Graphite Gray Metallic, Mojave Silver Metallic and Hi-Tech Silver Metallic.

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –
