Renault Kwid launched with added safety features, prices start from Rs 4.06 lakh

Renault has mildly updated its top-selling Renault Kwid hatchback for the 2021 model year. Prices start at Rs 4.06 lakh now for the base 800cc Kwid RXE and go up to Rs 5.51 lakh for the top-spec Climber 1.0-litre AMT.

2021 Renault Kwid changes

The most noteworthy change is that the Renault Kwid is now being offered with the two airbags as standard, before this safety feature becomes mandatory from December 31, 2021.

Another addition is that the top-spec Renault Kwid Climber is now available in a new white and black dual-tone colour option. This version now also comes with a day/night inner mirror as well as powered outer mirrors.a car parked in a parking lot: 2021 Renault Kwid Climber white black dual tone

2021 Renault Kwid specifications

The Renault Kwid can be had with two engines. The base 800cc motor makes 54PS at 5,678 rpm and 72 Nm at 4386 rpm and pairs with a five-speed manual. The 1.0-litre unit adds a 5-speed AMT option and puts out 68PS at 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm at 4,250 rpm.

 

Renault festive season offers 2021

The firm is offering offering benefits of upto Rs 80,000 on select variants across its product range. There are aslo 10 loyalty rewards on offer to celebrtare 10 oears of Renault in India with maximum loyalty benefits of up to Rs 1.1 lakh, applicable over and above other offers. For Ganesh Chaturthi, there will be further offers in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa between September 1 to 10. Apart from this the company has also announced the Buy Now, Pay in 2022 scheme for the Kwid, Triber and Kiger where custimers can opt for a 6 month EMI deferment.

Improved version of Hyundai Creta launched in Indian market: Check it out here

Hyundai India launched the much-awaited Creta Knight Edition in the country at a starting price of Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). This new variant is available in both petrol and diesel engine options and can be had either with a manual or an automatic transmission unit. To read more about the Creta Knight Edition, click here. In addition to this, the company has also introduced a model-year update for the Hyundai Creta with new feature additions.

The 2022 Hyundai Creta is now available in a new Denim Blue colour option and the Highline TPMS is now standard across all variants. The SX (O) trim now also gets a glossy black centre console. Furthermore, the company will offer the iMT option on the 1.5-litre petrol ‘S’ variant to further expand choices for the customers. The new S+ variant powered by a 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT now gets an additional set of features, such as –
