Lucknow. Satish Kumar Verma, a resident of Gosaiganj Amethi, was going from his work near Sultanpur Road HAL at 9 pm on December 15, when a car passing by hit him and left. After this he was badly injured, covered in blood and unconscious for a long time but none of the people present in the huge crowd present on the spot came forward to help. Meanwhile, Vishal Singh, popularly known as Foodman and Rescue Man, was passing by with his wife Anjali Singh and family member Stuti Singh due to free food service and other service work to disabled attendants in various hospitals of the city. Seeing the crowd, he stopped his car.

Seeing the badly injured man, he first asked his family members to reach the Lohia Lohia Institute in another vehicle and make necessary arrangements. After that, sitting the injured man in his car, Lohia reached the institute’s emergency and got him treated. In this case, the doctors gave their opinion that due to getting treatment at the right time, the life of Satish Kumar Verma son Jagdish Prasad Mohammadpur Ghati Gosaiganj Amethi was saved.

According to doctors, it is very important to get timely treatment in cases of accident and every second is precious in this case. On the other hand, Foodman and Rescue Man Vishal Singh (who has saved the lives of road accident patients many times by taking them to the hospital) told that sometimes it becomes difficult to convince the policemen and family members that you did not do this accident. Yes this is a road accident. In such cases such problems still have to be faced in our society. He appealed to the people to come forward and help in such a case. He also said that as per a Supreme Court order, the person who took the victims to the hospital would not be harassed in any way. It is to be told that during Kovid-19, food and other essential items were delivered to more than 7 and a half lakh needy people by Vishal Singh. After this, during the second wave of corona, oxygen cylinders, medicines, food etc. were made available to the victims.

Vishal Singh provided free food to the attendants and the needy in the DRDO Hospital and Haj House built by the government. Vishal Singh has been providing free food to more than 1000 needy people in various hospitals of Lucknow since last 14 years. Five ideal permanent night shelters have been built by his organization in the medical college, in which about 400 people are living comfortably and getting treatment for their families.

The court, generally, considers a person who commit a crime and the one who destroys the evidence, as criminals in the eyes of law. But what if an animal destroys the evidence of a crime committed by a human.

In a peculiar incident in Rajasthan, a monkey fled away with the evidence collected by the police in a murder case. The stolen evidence included the murder weapon (a blood-stained knife).

The incident came to light when the police appeared before the court and they had to provide the evidence in the hearing.

The hearing was about the crime which took place in September 2016, in which a person named Shashikant Sharma died at a primary health center under Chandwaji police station. After the body was found, the deceased’s relatives blocked the Jaipur-Delhi highway, demanding an inquiry into the matter.

Following the investigation, the police had arrested Rahul Kandera and Mohanlal Kandera, residents of Chandwaji in relation to the murder. But, when the time came to produce the evidence related to the case, it was found that the police had no evidence with them because a monkey had stolen it from them.

In the court, the police said that the knife, which was the primary evidence, was also taken by the monkey. The cops informed that the evidence of the case was kept in a bag, which was being taken to the court.

The evidence bag contained the knife and 15 other important evidences. However, due to the lack of space in the malkhana, a bag full of evidence was kept under a tree, which led to the incident.
